AT&T Park with the Chicago Cubs

Many people know that I am a HUGE Cubs fan so when I saw that I could visit San Francisco and check off a ballpark in the process I started calling my friends so that we could plan a trip! They didn’t win but it was still a fun experience! I like going to different parks and seeing what the atmosphere is like. Since I started working for the Mariners part time I tend to look at parks a little differently now. I want to know more about the employees and what its like to work for that team.

We had a lot of fun at the park. We went to a night game the first day and then a day game the next day. The first game we got there super early so that I could see batting practice and possibly get a ball. I think I need to get a kid before I am going to get a ball Haha! I am happy they give them to kids but I wouldn’t mind one either! I did end up buying a few game used ones so that I could keep it as my souvenir.

Chicago Cubs Game

Chicago Cubs Game 2016 Wrigley Field 01

When I booked my flight to Chicago the first thing I checked was to see if the Cubs were playing at home while I was there. They were and so I called one of my best friends who still lives there and we planned a whole day of it. When I used to live in Chicago and I was a very broke college student I would look online and find tickets for $2 and $4 and Chicago Cubs Game 2016 Wrigley Field 02go to the games after I got off work. I can say I have spent a lot of time at that park when the Cubs … for a lack of better words sucked. But I still went and cheered them on. Something about that park and that team has always made me feel at home. As you can see from the photo above the storm clouds were rolling in and 3 rain delays later we won the game and it was a day that I will never forget! This could be the year … I know we say that every year but there was an awesome feeling in the air! I am also a fan that rain or shine I will be sitting there with my beer in hand and happy to watch as long as they are playing! But as you can see the weather didn’t know what the heck it was trying to do and the sun was out enough to make my glasses transition into sunglasses. I’m happy I was able to see the Cubs win this year and who knows … I might be back in August when Scott and I have to make our cross country journey!

What a LONG time!!

I didn’t forget about you guys …  I just got caught up in that thing I call LIFE …. has been crazy! Everything from more Baseball games… Chicago Cubs vs. Chicago White Sox. A huge cross town rivalry to going all the way to St. Louis for a Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals game. Its better to just show my last few weeks in pictures! And all the fun I have been having!

Well first we got a new puppy… YES she is a puppy only 8 months old. I know what you are thinking how on earth can she be so big and still be a puppy… Well she is a Irish Wolfhound and they are average 150 lb. She maybe big but I still love her!

Then I got my butt kicked in darts. Yes Brent apparently knows his way around a dart board better than I do! But it was fun and I got named the best wingman an guy can have!

And now its on to Cubs vs. Sox! We were sitting 3rd row of the bleachers! And the only place the Cubs hit a home run that day! I saw myself later that night on the SportsCenter highlights and I was in the DUCK AND COVER position!

Frank and I hanging out after the game at the Dolphin Dugout!

This would be my current fashion accessory that I get to sport for the next few weeks! Yeah that one is a long story but aren’t they all? No heels for me for awhile!

Last but not least this was after we discovered the Land Shark booth at the Taste of Joliet! We also go to see the 80’s band Loverboy!

Thanks,

-Peace, Love and Tweeting!
