Roberts Riverwalk Hotel – Detroit
I recently stayed here for a Lions game and after reading all the reviews on Yelp I really wanted to give this hotel some much needed credit. The hotel is located a little outside of the downtown hussle and bussle but it was a quick shuttle ride to the game! The shuttle is also FREE from the hotel. I will warn you make sure you are downstairs waiting for it and plan to have a few loads before you. We did take a cab back to the hotel and it was less than $10. Room was nice and clean, the staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others and it was a great value since all we really wanted was a bed to sleep in. I will say don’t bother with the food-bar area downstairs. They seemed to be over worked and nothing like the service we received at the reception desk.
