Acura Ride and Drive the new ILX

This weekend I was invited to an event hosted by Acura to showcase the all new Acura ILX. I have to admit before we arrived at the event I had no idea this car existed or if I would even like it. It was a pleasant surprise. The car was a joy to drive and it has a great price point for someone who wants luxury and can’t afford a BMW.

I have to say this was a fun event to attend and I liked the closed course. It really gives you an opportunity to see what the car can do in a safe controlled environment.

Brothers of the Sun tour – Chicago

Welcome to the Brothers of the Sun tour. I recently went to the concert when they were here in Chicago. What a great show they put on! It was like 2 concerts in 1. First Tim came on at about 6:45 and played till 8.

Later Kenny took the stage and rocked the house. For his encore was when Tim came back out and they were singing each others songs.

Autobahn Country Club – Lady’s Day

Safety first!

It’s Lady’s Day at the Autobahn! This is the second time I have been in attendance and it was a great experience again!

On the track I got to drive a Cadillac and a BMW. The handling of the BMW was a lot better around the turns and it seemed to have more acceleration.

There are lots of things to do out at the Autobahn from the Auto Cross course to Go Karts and always the track holds a lot more fun! Hot laps to me are the best!

And my Mom did too!

What a great day to spend with lots of speed and a little burning rubber too! And you come back to the club house to enjoy a wonderful drink before dinner!
