Lasagna Cups for dinner? Here is what you will need:

1 – package of wonton wrappers

1lb – hamburger or Italian sausage

1 – package of Italian cheese blend

1 – can of your favorite marinara sauce

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

Brown the meat in a skillet then drain the grease and let cool. Take out a muffin pan and grease the inside of the cups. Place 2 wonton wrappers into the cups.

Fill with sauce then meat then cheese and repeat these steps until the cups are full. It works best if you place cheese on top to crisp on top.

Fold the tops over to seal in all the juice.

Once all your cups are full place the baking pan into the oven for approx. 20 minutes. I would check them half way through to know how fast they are cooking.

Chocolate and Peanut Butter Crescent Rolls

Man do these look yummy! I was doing what I do best … Looking for something to cook on Pinterest and after searching my Food board I decided to make these yummy looking things!

After visiting For the Love of Cooking, I was off to the grocery store. Or Walmart I should say … I LOVE to cook but I am not so good at it. I try and not spend to much money on something I just might be trowing away after its done.

Mmmmm Looks yummy from here!

I really wanted to snap a photo of my office – kitchen lol

I bought 3 packs of 8 since I am taking them to my monthly night of playing Catch Phrase!

Here is where the twist is … I decided to try “Mini” Chocolate chips vs. the regular size ones.

Spread on the Peanut Butter

Sprinkle on the Chocolate Chips

Roll and Bake!

Perfect!

Ambrosia Sushi – Key West

Tonight for dinner I decided to check out Ambrosia located here in Key West. It’s a sushi restaurant inside the Santa Maria hotel off Simonton St. and South St. I will tell you to make reservation if you do not want to sit at the bar. It seems to be a very popular place to eat. I started off with Miso soup and was delighted for find that they add mushrooms to it as well as the traditional tofu and seaweed.

One of my favorite rolls to eat is the Shrimp Tempura. I decided to try theirs and see how it would compare to sushi places back in Chicago. I am happy to report that these guys know what they are doing and the roll just might have been better than the ones at home. The shrimp was fresh, the masago was in there and also the avocado.

Next I decided to try the Chef Sashimi Sampler and they hit it out of the park just with presentation alone.

Overall I would recommend this place. Great find off Duval St. Sometimes it can get a little overwhelming with the large amount of restaurants on this tiny island. I have tried quite a few but still have many on my list.

As always, Peace – LOVE and Tweeting!
