Six Feet Under – Oakland Cemetery – Atlanta, Georgia

Six Feet Under – Atlanta, Georgia

A great local place to sit down and have a beer or dinner and drinks. Rumor has it Six Feet Under was originally named since the Grant Park location is located across the street from Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta. Both locations boast great views of the city and an amazing rooftop deck. I stuck with the Grilled Chicken sandwich but my Momma and Jewels had some Oysters.

I heard that they tasted good! Next up was what to drink … Bloody Mary it is! But make sure to look out for the spices on top! They have a kick to them!

After eating and drinking we decided to drive across town the the cemetery and see who we could recognize.

All over the cemetery are amazing old trees planted in a lot of the plots.

Everyone is looking for Waldo … Well I found him but a few years to late!

I also found my people … Many of you don’t know but my last name is Greene and it just so happened that I knew some people buried at Oakland. Well maybe not KNOW but I could be related to them!

Have you ever visited the Key West Garden Club? I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and have never been inside. The Key West Garden Club is one of the island’s last remaining free tourist attractions. Plants are donated and maintained by members and volunteers. They are a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities for the community relating to tropical gardening and to the West Martello Tower, a National Historic site where the Club is located. They are open seven days a week and are a beautiful venue for weddings and other events.I want to take a good book some iced tea and just relax under a tree for a few hours.

I also had the chance to work on my photography skills while I was there. They have so many different types of plants and trees that I wanted to photograph. Some are a little abstract and others just show the simple beauty of a flower in bloom.

Fury Water Adventures – Key West

Today was another adventure! We decided to go on the Fury Water Adventure. It was a combination Dolphin Watching, Snorkeling, Kayaking and Sunset adventure.  First we started out with the dolphins. I know they can not ever garentee that you will see them but we sure did! Next up was the Snorkeling, We went out to the Mangrove Islands where the water is about 3 to 4 feet deep and you are swimming over a living reef!

The Kayaking was my favorite part of the trip! When you get out there is it just you and the ocean! I loved it!

And last but not least was the amazing Sunset as we drove back to the harbor! It was an amazing trip that I would tell anyone to do!
