Last night I was sitting at Smathers Beach here in Key West waiting for the green sea turtle nest to hatch. I decided to play around with my camera and ended up with some pretty good photos.
Now I can’t wait to practice again tonight! Maybe even get a photo of a baby turtle!
The Key West Winery is a great place to stop into while you are visiting my small little island. They have 36 types of wine to date and I’m sure they will always be adding more to their collection. The wine is made from 100% fruit and from what I have tasted are delicious. The Shook family has been making wine for over 20 years from fruits and vegetables found in Florida. I’m back at playing tourist again … This time I had my first visit to the Hemingway Home and Museum in Key West. I can’t say that I am a huge fan of Hemingway. To be honest I don’t think I have ever read any of his books. Maybe when I was a kid in school. I did however like the history of the house and the very photogenic six toed cats that live on the property. The house and property were very serene and I could have taken a nap in the pool they had. I can’t imagine how much that amount of property and house would be worth now.
Its always fun to play with mirrors. This one is actually hanging on a tree before you exit the property.
