Island Dogs Bar – Key West

Want a great place to hangout and enjoy a great meal? Well you should pick Island Dogs Bar in downtown Key West, very laid back and has everything you are looking for! We started with the Conch Fritters, Were on a search for the best on the island.

I had the Jerk Chicken sandwich and man was it good! It has a Cuban flair to it that you can’t miss!

But I have to say I think dessert was the best of all Key Lime Martini.

What a great time we had! Make sure if your in Key West to put Island Dogs Bar on your list of places to stop! They are located at 505 Front Street  Key West, FL 33040 www.islanddogsbar.com

Also a special Thanks to Leilona, Tyler, and Leif for making that night one I wont forget!

Have you ever visited the Key West Garden Club? I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and have never been inside. The Key West Garden Club is one of the island’s last remaining free tourist attractions. Plants are donated and maintained by members and volunteers. They are a non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities for the community relating to tropical gardening and to the West Martello Tower, a National Historic site where the Club is located. They are open seven days a week and are a beautiful venue for weddings and other events.I want to take a good book some iced tea and just relax under a tree for a few hours.

I also had the chance to work on my photography skills while I was there. They have so many different types of plants and trees that I wanted to photograph. Some are a little abstract and others just show the simple beauty of a flower in bloom.

Fury Water Adventures – Key West

Today was another adventure! We decided to go on the Fury Water Adventure. It was a combination Dolphin Watching, Snorkeling, Kayaking and Sunset adventure.  First we started out with the dolphins. I know they can not ever garentee that you will see them but we sure did! Next up was the Snorkeling, We went out to the Mangrove Islands where the water is about 3 to 4 feet deep and you are swimming over a living reef!

The Kayaking was my favorite part of the trip! When you get out there is it just you and the ocean! I loved it!

And last but not least was the amazing Sunset as we drove back to the harbor! It was an amazing trip that I would tell anyone to do!
