Description

ALL ACCESS PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS AT THE OLD JOLIET PRISON

AUGUST 25, 2018 6:00AM – 10AM

Don’t miss this chance to learn tips and techniques for getting those abandon photos you see all over Instagram!

We will be going behind the scenes at the Old Joliet Prison and have more access than a traditional history tour.

You will get to see and photograph the prison while inside the walls, walk the back wall and see the old Salley Port.

Meeting place will be communicated with class confirmation.

There is limited space for this event. This is a rain or shine class. No refunds will be given for weather.

Where we will make a left toward the yard. As we approach the Administration building we will then turn left toward the Hospital. The Hospital is where we will spend most of our time learning how to take a photo of the operating room inside the completely dark hospital itself.

Once in front of the hospital we will put down our gear and head in to survey the situation. As most will see the building itself is very dark. There are multiple ways you can capture this shot but the way I am going to demonstrate today can be used over and over again in any low light situations. Using either the daylight in the window behind us or a flashlight inside the OR itself we are able to illuminate the subject. The reason for doing this is to train the camera to see the focus points that will not be there when you are taking the actual photo.

Make sure you bring the following:
