I have been a photographer for about 15 years and I can finally say that I have a studio space that I am in LOVE with! My husband and I bought a house in our new town outside of Seattle, Washington and when I saw all that space downstairs I knew I needed to do something fun with it. The whole concept took a couple of months but I am finally excited to share my first photo of the studio space I have created. I have somehow pieced all these wonderful backdrops into a working studio. I spent quite a bit of time at the local thrift store or the Habitat for Humanity store looking for random items that I knew I could use in a creative way. Since my husband is active duty in the military I needed items that could be packed up and moved with us when we go to his next duty station. A few weeks ago I was looking at the flooring section and saw these beautiful pieces of wood. After closer inspection I discovered that they were not flooring at all! They were pine or cedar siding for a house! They had about 30 of these 6 foot tongue and groove boards. I asked to speak to a manager and was able to get them all for $50! What a steal right! I also found some never used cream colored doors that I knew would be a perfect neutral backdrop!
