Since I take the ferry almost everyday I have had lots of photography opportunities and there is an abundance of wildlife out there. I am still waiting to see the elusive whale!

Spring has SPRUNG
Well I can say that I survived the Washington winter … Ok fine survived is a strong word. More like grinned and bared it through all that rain. Did you know we had the most rain they have EVER seen this winter! Who knew! It was just waiting for me since everyone knows I am a huge fan of rain. Not! I have had hundreds of people tell me just wait for the summer, It will all be worth it. I hope so … I will report back when it stops raining!
Snow Day
Since I have been in Washington state everyone has told me that the winters here are really mild and its very rare that we get snow. Well we have had an accumulation of snow so many times I lost count. The last snow that we had ended up being a snow day for the local kids and people sledding down some of the big hill in the neighborhood! I don’t think I’m in Kansas anymore … Oops I mean Florida!
This was some super heavy and wet snow! There were trees down all over the place from the weight. But I also have to say it was really pretty since all the tree tops were covered with a white blanket!
